Manufacturer booklet. Wounds include venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, vasculitic and post-traumatic wounds, and a surgical wound breakdown. Most cases also used other treatments such as negative pressure therapy, antimicrobial dressings, compression or surgery.

Key findings

  • Complete healing is reported in several venous leg ulcer cases, for example at 70 days, 6 weeks and 9 weeks after treatment.
  • Diabetic foot ulcer cases report complete healing after 12 and 14 weeks of total treatment, and re-epithelialisation at week 13 in another.
  • Some cases report partial results rather than full closure, such as almost complete closure at 4 months and at 3.5 months.
  • In one sacral pressure ulcer, closure followed flap reconstruction after a second application.
  • Pain is reported in both directions: one patient had significant pain during application, done under local anaesthetic, while another reported a significant reduction in pain afterwards.
