Cryoanalgesia

Cryoanalgesia is a peripheral nerve freezing procedure for post-op and chronic pain

CRYO-S® Painless

Cryoanalgesia is a targeted pain-relief technique that uses controlled cold to block nerve signals, providing long-lasting relief with minimal side effects in perioperative and chronic pain treatment- across three key products:

  • CRYO-S Painless in postoperative pain (Helps reduce opioid use, ERAS – quick rehabilitation, shorter hospital stay)
  • CRYO-S Painless in post-stroke spasticity (Provides immediate results in spasticity reduction, improves the rehabilitation process)
  • CRYO-S Painless in Chronic Pain (Minimally invasive method of chronic pain treatment under ultrasound guidance)
What are the advantages of cryoanalgesia?

Advantages of Cryoanalgesia

Cryoanalgesia delivers fast, targeted pain relief with minimal risk. Image-guided and repeatable, it treats pain at the source without damaging surrounding tissue—offering longer-lasting results with less reliance on strong medication.

  • Fast lasting relief: Immediate effect with reduced need for strong drugs.
  • Precise repeatable: Image-guided treatment safely used again as needed.
  • Safer approach: No tissue damage, neuromas, or harm to nearby structures.

Targeted Clinical Applications

Cryoanalgesia is used across a wide range of pain conditions, delivering targeted relief where other treatments fall short. From nerve-related pain to post-surgical and cancer-associated pain, it provides a versatile, minimally invasive option for both acute and chronic cases.

  • Nerve pain focus: Effective for neuralgias including trigeminal and occipital pain.
  • Post-surgical relief: Helps chest, phantom, and neuroma-related pain.
  • Broad pain control: Supports joint, limb, and cancer-related pain.

Smarter, Safer Cryoanalgesia Technology

Advanced automation delivering safer, simpler, fully controlled pain treatment
Easy mode switching

Easy mode switching

Probe mode selection, cleaning and freezing can be performed automatically via a foot switch or a convenient touchscreen, allowing the treatment site to be kept in sterile conditions.
RFiD

RFiD

RFiD – electronic communication between the probe and the device allows for the recognition of optimal operating parameters and automatic configuration to the characteristics of the cryoprobe. The gas pressure and flow are set automatically, and manual adjustment is not necessary.
Automated Testing System

Automated Testing System

It is equipped with an automatic probe testing system and two freezing modes (continuous and sequential). The probe testing system includes automatic cleaning and short freezing test.
Voice Communication

Voice Communication

Built-in voice communication makes the work easier. A system informing about key data during the procedure.
Voice Communication

Safe Freezing

Built-in diagnostic nerve stimulation helps distinguish between sensory and motor nerves. This prevents the motor nerves from accidentally freezing.
Two Working Mediums

Two Working Mediums

The working medium for CRYO-S® Painless is carbon dioxide CO2 (-78°C) or nitrous oxide N2O (-89°C), very efficient and easy-to-use gases.

Simple, Intuitive Interface for Total Procedure Control

CRYO-S® Painless uses microprocessor control with all key parameters clearly shown on an LCD screen. Temperature, pressure, gas flow, and treatment time are monitored in real time for complete clarity and easy, confident operation.
